If you are afforded the opportunity, book this venue for your wedding, I could give you a million reasons why you should do so without hesitation. Like some other couples, my now-husband and I toured the Monastery during very early phases of construction -- even in shambles, the place was absolutely breathtaking. Without knowing much about the staff or services, or even what the “finished product” would actually look like, we booked this venue more than a year in advance. To say we were pleased with how everything turned out would be a grave understatement. Not only was the aesthetic of the finished venue everything we hoped for, but the service delivered by the Monastery staff was beyond our imagination. Meetings with Lindsey and Doug did much to calm our pre-wedding nerves, as they were exceedingly organized, kind, and attentive at every encounter. Each detail of our day was carefully orchestrated, and stunningly executed. Which brings me to Kris. The banquet manager, Kris, might actually have super powers. Somehow she managed to keep every piece of the ceremony and reception moving like clockwork, while also doting on not only my groom and I, but also both of our families and wedding party. She was so warm, accommodating, and meticulous - we felt like royalty. Our families and guests are still talking two weeks later about how incredible she was to us and how impressed we still are by how perfectly everything went. The combination of the incredible staff and gorgeous venue made for a wonderful day that we will never forget. So THANK YOU to the Monastery staff for everything!

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Monastery. Lindsey, Kris, and the owner Doug were amazing! This venue really has thought of everything! They help plan every step of the way and take note of every detail of the wedding- important tables, family members, drink choices, timeline, lighting (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, toasts, dancing, etc), food, servers...the list goes on. The venue itself is beyond perfection. Doug has really preserved the original structure and while turning it into an event center, he kept the history intact. All of our guests commented on the venue, the food, and the service. We had cocktail hour outside in the courtyard in a tent while they flipped the space to the reception inside. For 150 people accommodation, they were able to flip the space in only 45mins. It was truly impressive to see the transformation from ceremony to complete reception set up! They served salads to the individual tables and we served dinner buffet style. They got all of our guests through the buffet line in under 10minutes. The team at the Monastery has mastered the art of the wedding venue services. I would choose their venue 10x over.

I feel truly lucky to have gotten married at the Monastery Event Center... It was beyond what I could have ever imagined our wedding day to be! The venue is astonishing and almost every single guest mentioned how impressed they were by it's beauty. Both our ceremony and reception felt like a fairytale. More importantly, the staff and planning process make this venue so perfect. From the moment I toured the Monastery to our last goodbye, I felt 100% taken care of. I never feared that something would go wrong because everyone was always 3 steps ahead of me. They take on more than they have to, and they do it with ease. This venue is worth every penny, and I would recommend it to anyone getting married in the Cincinnati area. I honestly couldn't imagine a more perfect day and most of that was because of them!

Our daughter and son-in-law were married this past weekend. We cannot recommend The Monastery enough. Why go anywhere else? Lindsey, Doug and Kris are the best in the business. Lindsey guided us through the months leading up, and every questions we had was answered quickly and professionally. Lindsey always made us feel very welcomed. Doug was always there to answer any question we had and when we happened to “pop in” he was more than happy to allow us to see how the room was set-up for the wedding that evening. Doug also saved us during the reception when a last minute dietary request was brought to our attention. He solved the problem in two minutes. Unbelievable! Kris is THE BEST! She was on top of every thought that popped into our head. The bridal party used the bridal room for hair and make-up and we swear Kris was giving us what we needed before we asked. The reception was phenomenal. The food was beyond exceptional. Two days later and we are still receiving compliments, but those remarks should all be directed to the team at The Monastery as they went above and beyond. The Team is a well oiled machine and everyone at the reception felt as if they were the most special guest in the house. Our guests were in awe. They were surprised and so joyous to do the “wedding walk” with Bagpipes from Holy Cross -Immaculata. How fun for out-of-towners to experience something so rare and exciting. The proximity of Holy Cross - Immaculata (If you are blessed enough to book it) and The Monastery makes everything a perfect fit, and an extraordinary experience.. Our entire day was more than we could dream of. Why go anywhere else?

After almost 10 years in business (Wedding cakes), I can say the my team has delivered cakes and confections to almost all venues in Cincinnati. As a vendor I have been into many kitchens, and worked with all sorts of staff. Never in my hundreds of deliveries I have worked with a more professional and courteous staff as the one at this venue. Not only they bended over knees to make our delivery easy, but also they excelled in organization, logistics and cleanliness as we assisted in plating the cake. What we witness behind doors, was an incredibly professional, well trained and HAPPY team, working together to please the client and vendors alike. It was refreshing to see the effort that the staff put servings guests and clients, as well as behind doors. Thank you for rasing the bar in servicing the wedding market in Cincinnati.

We held our daughter's reception at the Monastery on Saturday, July 14, 2018. The Monastery staff went over the top in making sure every detail was taken care of with excellent service. Our family and guests were able to enjoy every minute without having to worry about anything. From the initial tour with Lindsay, to the food tasting night, to the actual reception with Kris, it was simply perfect! Our guests were treated like royalty with not only the excellent service (white gloved) but with the delicious food and drinks. There is not one thing we would have changed about this evening at the Monastery.
